Major Exposure for FAME and FAMErs

Check out the New York Times on Thursday April 2 to see the feature on FAME and some of our more senior athletes!  The Times and its writer, Abby Ellin, found it very fascinating that people are actually hitting the stage while in their retirement years; some who have never competed before! 

This paper is the most read paper in the world and we’re thrilled to be a part of it to share our vision and the accomplishments of our athletes.

FAME World Tour Regionals... Are Here!

Which Show Should You Attend?  Judging, Finals or Both... Here’s the Breakdown:


Judging:  This portion of the event is the most intense, critical time for both athletes and judges.  Although it may look simple, the Judging is anything but!!  The athletes are essentially being taken through a very intense, hard workout as they must be squeezing and contracting all visible muscles in the body with no real opportunity to relax.  Now add to that the fact that they are on stage with all eyes on them, under hot bright lights,  being scrutinized not only on their physique but also on their posture, facial expressions, composure, stage presence, posing, performance and personal touch.   If you're looking for intensity, thinking of competing or just want to be inspired by the sheer determination featured on stage, the Judging portion is for you! Get FAME!


Your pictures can appear in FAME Magazine!  All you have to do is submit them to our offices electronically ASAP.  We are looking for professional high resolution training and competition pictures, athletic action shots, unique photos, and speciality lifestyle type shots (eg. cooking, vacationing).  Pictures should be diverse and are not limited to stage photos or physique type poses; and may consist of alternative training methods and various physical activities (eg rock climbing, martial arts, water sports etc) while still highlighting the physique.  As well, photos shot against a solid or neutral background can be an asset, as well as full length shots with all limbs in tact.

Scheduling private or event-day photoshoots can really boost your potential to get into FAME Magazine (see above), especially when you submit them to FAME for consideration.  Priority is given to FAMErs which means great exposure for you!

FAME Ambassador, Bodybuilder Rob Riches has a new posing video.  Check it out.   He was also recently a feature guest on the Gregory Mantell Show talking about his new training techniques, Progresive Cycles which trains the body through 3 different energy systems.  Check it out here.  Rob also successfully lead the first FAME Idol together with fellow FAMErs Dave Catudal, Alicia Neasmith and author, Clark Bartram.


FAME Pro and UK Fitness Model Champion Audrey Kaipio lead England’s first FAME Camp and says “the girls in the UK were eager to learn how to prepare and present themselves for competition.  The day was fun packed and informative. The girls enjoyed meeting others with their same interests in dieting, training and contest preparation. All of the participants of the camp will be first time competitors and are competing in the FAME European Championships in London on April 27.   There is still time to enter and I hope to see you all there!”

FAME PRESS CONFERENCE / WEST AFRICA

Taking place on April 5 at 3PM GMT, held by FAME Promoter Koulekpato Kokouu Rast Japoo in Lome, Togo, West Africa. Twenty + Radio Stations and 6 TV Channels are already confirmed to be attending.   The entire press conference and TV interviews will be shown on TV5 in Europe!

The first ever FAME West Africa Championships is scheduled for September in Togo as part of Season 2 of the 2008 FAME World Tour.  It features all categories of competition.   Hope to see you all there!
