11:00 AM:   “How to Make Fitness Meals Appetizing”  by Laura Creavalle.


Laura is an Author of Healthy Gourmet Express and Laura’s Light & Luscious Cusine. Laura is also a Fitness Professional and the founder of Club Creavalle Healthy Eating.  She will provide tips and techniques on how to prepare your  competition meals so that they look and taste as good as they are healthy!  These are the same meals she uses for her clients to get them into competition perfect shape!





12:00 PM:   “Train Like an Athlete” by Peter Twist

Join Peter Twist, veteran NHL Strength and Conditioning Coach, for a look at the Twist Athlete Conditioning Paradigm which has proven successful with athletes of all ages and abilities in numerous sports.  The Twist Paradigm focuses on training movement, strength and balance to improve overall athleticism.  An athlete’s most important feats of strength and balance will be required in unstable, dynamic and unpredictable environments. This workshop will focus on theory and practical drills necessary to improve athleticism and help you achieve the results you are looking for as a competitor.  This session is geared towards athletic preparation but has application for most populations, including personal training, group X and rehab.



2:00 PM: Beat the Metabolic Syndrome

Dr. Melissa Hershberg, MD, Weight Management Consultant, a former competitive gymnast and fitness enthusiast, is the author of the bestselling book, The Hershberg Diet: Discover How The 4th Macro can Help you Shed Pounds and Beat The Metabolic Syndrome.   Dr. Hershberg’s experiences in competitive athletics coupled with her training in science and medicine have afforded her with a unique and highly respected knowledge base.
